TV studio NOS

The NOS is the largest news organization in the Netherlands. As a public broadcaster, it provides independent coverage in areas such as news and sports. The NOS operates its own production studios.

In 2015, the news studio, including the adjacent control room, was modernized using DEOS AG’s OPENbalance (now OPENdynamics) products and two OPEN 810/12 EMS BACnet controllers. This significantly improved conditions in this specific room layout: As requested, OPENdynamics, for example, optimized the air velocity within the 4,000-square-meter studio to the extent that drafts no longer occur. Furthermore, the high temperatures caused by the technical equipment inside the studios were reduced to a comfortable level for employees and studio guests. The ventilation and humidification system was also replaced. Throughout the entire renovation project, which involved approximately 200 data points, the broadcaster NOS was able to continue its operations without any issues.
