Neue Flora Hamburg: DEOS building automation increases energy efficiency and optimizes the indoor climate in theater operations

The Neue Flora in Hamburg, built in 1988/90 according to plans by architects Uwe Köhnholdt and Konstantin Kleffel, is one of the largest theaters in Germany with 1,965 seats (1,415 in the stalls, 550 in the circle).

When modernizing the stage and auditorium, the decision was made to install a building automation system from DEOS in order to improve energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. Two powerful OPEN 800 EMS controllers control and regulate the indoor climate. The freely programmable OPENweb can be individually adapted to the operator’s requirements.
