DEOS automation stations certified to the current BACnet Revision 1.26
Greater Security and Future-Proofing for Modern Building Automation
DEOS has successfully had several automation stations it developed in-house certified according to the current BACnet Revision 1.26. Among those officially listed by BACnet International are the OPEN 600 Secure EMS, the OPEN 810 Secure EMS, and the OPEN.WRX Secure EMS.
With this certification, DEOS is embracing the latest developments in the world’s leading communication standard for building automation. This provides building owners, operators, design engineers, and system integrators with an important foundation for open, interoperable, and future-proof measurement and control systems.
Focus on Secure Communication
A particular focus is on BACnet Secure Connect, or BACnet/SC for short. This technology enables encrypted and authenticated communication, thereby supporting cybersecurity in building automation—which is especially important as buildings become more interconnected and integrated into corporate networks.
“Our certification under BACnet Revision 1.26 demonstrates that DEOS consistently implements the current BACnet standard in its solutions. System partners, building owners, and operators benefit from an automation platform that meets modern requirements for interoperability, IT security, and long-term investment security. “, says Jonas Heumer, product manager at DEOS.
