Ciel et Terre residential building

The “Ciel et Terre” residential development was completed in a new residential area of Düsseldorf-Derendorf. The building stands out thanks to its distinctive façade design. The overall project consists of three buildings, all of which are fully basemented by a two-story underground parking garage. DEOS has taken on the task of controlling the fire protection and smoke exhaust dampers in the residential complex using the CAN-HSB ring bus.

The CAN-HSB ring bus system was implemented by DEOS Gebäudeautomation GmbH to ensure reliable control of fire protection and smoke exhaust dampers. The DEOS ring bus system is highly versatile; in this case, the objective is to prevent the spread of fire and smoke within the building in the event of a fire. The ring bus system drastically reduces the amount of conventional cabling required and immediately detects failures in system components.
